It’s been five years since the legendary TV series Derry Girls came to an end, and now its creator is finally back with an exciting new show — and a stellar Irish cast to match.
In How To Get To Heaven From Belfast, Lisa McGee turns her attention to another group of women, this time in their 30s, who find themselves thrown into an unexpected journey following a tragedy.
As production got underway, McGee shared her excitement in a statement, describing the female leads as “three flawed, funny women who are about to embark on the most thrilling and terrifying adventure of their lives.”
She added, “A mystery full of twists and turns that will keep you guessing and make you laugh out loud. Let’s go girls!”
Even better? McGee is reuniting with Derry Girls director Michael Lennox, which means expectations are understandably sky-high that this dream team will strike TV gold once again.
Here’s everything we know so far about How To Get To Heaven From Belfast — including who’s taking on the starring roles.
