After over a year, BBC city TV drama Industry is so back. Season 3 aired back in late 2024, so we feel treated that a new instalment has come around so quickly.

Stars such as Myha’la, Marisa Abela and Kit Harington will return, but buzzy TV royalty Stranger Things' Charlie Heaton and Mad Men star Kiernan Shipka will also be thrown into the mix of the series, which follows the lives of graduates climbing the ladder in the world of investment banking.

There's a lot of hype for season 4 after the success of season 3 back in 2024. Ratings for the show increased by 40% over the first two weeks of the third season's airing in the US, leading to a very quick renewal for the next instalment. Happy days.

In an interview with The Guardian, Marisa said of season 4: "This season does feel different, but in an exciting way. People responded to Industry spreading its wings in season three and having greater ambitions. And I think that’s even more true of season four. It still feels like Industry, but it also feels like the most high-camp, crazy villain origin story of all time.”

Industry's creators and writers, Mickey Down & Konrad Kay, have also said that they "can’t wait to dive deeper and deliver the best season yet in season 4.

Industry has been unflinching in its examination of ambition and class, solidifying itself as a marquee HBO drama,” HBO's Francesca Orsi added in a statement. "Under Mickey and Konrad’s singular vision, this twisted, thrilling look at London finance has redefined the contemporary workplace show.

“We’re so excited that viewers and critics have recognised season three as bigger and better than ever, buoyed by sublime performances from our unparalleled cast.”

BBC's synopsis reads as follows: "At the top of their game and living the lives they set out to have as Pierpoint grads, Harper (Myha’la) and Yasmin (Marisa Abela) are drawn into a high-stakes, globetrotting cat-and-mouse game when a splashy fintech darling bursts onto the London scene.

“As Yasmin navigates her relationship with tech founder Sir Henry Muck (Kit Harington) and Harper is pulled into the orbit of enigmatic executive Whitney Halberstram (Max Minghella), their twisted friendship begins to warp and ignite under the pressure of money, power, and the desire to be on top.”

Also joining for this season are Max Minghella, Toheeb Jimoh (Ted Lasso), Jack Farthing and Amy James-Kelly.
