Many of us are too cynical to believe anybody enters the Love Island villa genuinely looking for love… and yet some Love Island couples stay together in the outside world for years after the show ends. Some of them have even gotten married and had kids! They’re not the majority by any means, but the number of Love Island couples still together today is bigger than you might expect, proving some people actually do find love in this villa.
And as Love Island 2025 begins tonight, it's time to remind ourselves what couples made it out of the villa and have actually survived real life.
Most islanders who are coupled up when they leave the villa will have uncoupled within a year, to nobody’s surprise. For instance, the news that season eight’s Paige and Adam didn’t last wasn’t exactly earth-shattering. Although we still mourn for our favourite Love Island odd couple, Davide and Ekin-Su. Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae's relationship hit the rocks lately with a shocking-yet-brief split, but it looks like they're giving things another shot.
Not every Love Island couple is meant to go the distance, but these are the lucky few who are still together.
An exhausting summer of grafting and chatting is finally coming to an end.

Amid all the drama, recouplings, and bombshells you find on every season of Love Island UK, there is often one pair who couple up on day one and never look back. On season two, that couple was Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey, who went on to win the whole season.
In the villa: Winners
In the outside world: Seven years later, Cara and Nathan are now married with two kids, Freddie and Delilah. Per Cosmopolitan, Nathan proposed to Cara in the Love Island villa, where it all began. “I brought her back to where we met and took her on a little treasure hunt around the villa to different places which meant something to us,” Nathan told OK!. “Finally, I blindfolded her, led her to the pool, and got down on one knee.”

Season-two runners-up Alex Bowen and Olivia Buckland didn't have quite as smooth a journey in the Love Island villa as Cara and Nathan, hitting speed bumps when Alex slept with another Islander, and when the lie detector test claimed he wasn't truthful about his feelings for Olivia. “When everyone started coming over to me, it got me upset,” he said at the time, per Digital Spy. “I know how I feel about the girl, and that's all that matters to me.”
In the villa: Runners-up
In the outside world: It turns out he was right, and the test was wrong – because since leaving the villa, these two have “gone from strength to strength.” According to People, Alex and Olivia married in 2018 and welcomed their first child in June of 2022.

On Love Island UK series three, Camilla Thurlow was in the villa for a full month before Jamie Jewitt arrived, but clearly, he was worth the wait. Jamie entered the villa as a bombshell in week five, and he and Camilla wasted no time in getting close, eventually getting treated to a night in the hideaway on Camilla's 28th birthday.
In the villa: Runners-up
In the outside world: Technically, Camilla and Jamie were the runners-up, but as the only couple from series three who are still together, they're winners where it counts. They got married in 2021, per People, and are now the parents of two young daughters.

What a family picture. After meeting on Love Island, Jess and Dom have since got married and had two sons. They were the first Islanders to get married, and in true reality TV couple style, their wedding was streamed live on Good Morning Britain and they wore white swimwear. The couple then had a quieter, intimate ceremony on the Greek island of Mykonos.
In the villa: Jess was eliminated from the villa, leaving with fellow contestant Mike Thalassitis – there was speculation that she hooked up with him, but that was soon cleared up and Dom left the villa shortly after with the aim of being with Jess.
In the outside world: The couple have recently shared snaps of their luxurious trip to Australia. Super jealous.

Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague's time in the villa wasn't without its drama, thanks to a long-simmering love triangle with bombshell Maura Higgins. Luckily, Tommy eventually realised where his heart truly lay, and the couple finished in second place.
Since then, they have made headlines for their high-profile split, with Molly-Mae's Behind It All documentary giving us a look at how their relationship broke down. Now it looks like they're giving things another go.
In the villa: Runners-up
In the outside world: Tommy and Molly-Mae welcomed their first child, a daughter named Bambi, in January of 2023.

Millie Court just couldn't seem to quit Liam Reardon, even after the truth about his Casa Amor wandering eye came out when they were reunited at the main villa. All it took was one heartfelt apology speech, and these two were back on track, eventually going on to win the whole shebang.
In the villa: Winners
In the outside world: First, they were on. Then they were off. Now they're officially back on. After telling The Sun that the reason for the split was the stress caused by living so much in the public eye, the couple confirmed they were back together in August 2023.

Things were looking dire for a minute when Love Island UK season seven's Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack both chose to recouple after Casa Amor. But, as they say, all's well that ends well, and things have definitely ended well for Dami and Indiyah.
In the villa: Third place
In the outside world: These days, Dami and Indiyah share a flat in London, and they've taken their signature “bants” to Twitter.

Kai Fagan had quite the roller coaster of a journey before Sanam Harrinanan arrived, and quickly sealed the deal. First, he was with Tanyel, then Anna-May, then Tanyel again, then Samie, and then Olivia before Sanam came with Casa Amor, and it was all over.
In the villa: Winners
In the outside world: These two are, we're thrilled to say, still together and still adorable. They're also engaged!

These guys are still going strong. They made things official earlier this year, checking into a luxurious spa, with Josh having organised “will you be my GF?” to be written in petals on their bed.
In the villa: Runners up (third place)
In the outside world: They've recently celebrated Josh's birthday together, with Sophie gushing in an Instagram post: "Still can’t get my head around not knowing you less than 4 months ago and now I can’t imagine life without you! I love being your best friend and I’m so lucky I get to laugh with you everyday.
“Your the kindest soul and thank you for continuing to make me the happiest I’ve ever been. Love you always.”

The winners of Love Island's first ever All Star instalment are going from strength to strength. Fans were predicting that Molly would hook up with her ex Callum Jones as they both entered the series as wild cards. But an entirely new love story was born, and the rest is history.
In the villa: Winners!
In the outside world: Tom is in the process of moving into Molly's apartment in Manchester, making the move up North from London.
