Favourite places to eat

Greenberry [in Primrose Hill] is a great brunch spot and I love a good cappuccino, so that's pretty much where I go.”

“I also go to It's Bagels [in Primrose Hill] a lot. Everybody knows my affinity for bagels and bagel culture, so there's a good iced coffee there as well. That's the thing, It's Bagels has bagels that I can tolerate because I am from the superior bagel capital of the world, which is New Jersey and New York City. There’s a place called Trap Kitchen near Chalk Farm station in Camden that is really, really delicious.”

“I've had a few Sunday roasts here [in London]. I fear I haven't been to any local favourite spots, but Sophie's in Soho has a great one. Me and my best friend Deanna Gift went to have a roast there last summer, but I've also been to a few roasts at The Ivy. I love a Sunday roast. I always go for the beef pink in the middle.”

Favourite park

“Primrose Hill is my favourite park. I also really love Regents as well. But Primrose Hill is my favourite place to let the dog off the lead. It's relatively quiet in the back areas and he just loves to run. He's got big, long legs and he loves to run around. That's probably my favourite spot.”

Favourite vintage shop

“I don't seek out the vintage shop places, but that's why I think the best vintage spots are usually not based on where it is. It's what you find. I have had moments of stumbling upon the perfect pair of pants. I'm talking like Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants type where they look good on everybody. I have found those just randomly shopping around in Chiswick or something. Yeah, I've been very lucky with the vintage shopping here.”

Best charity or vintage shop

Siobhan: Beyond Retro, massive one in Dalston, used to be at the end of my road. I mean it was good, if you needed anything, they've got it in there.

Mutya: Isn't there a great one on Brick Lane? I can't remember the name… I'll keep that one secret…

Best place for a fry up

Mutya: Cafe Anglais, it's in Colindale. It's the best cafe in north west London, which is where we're all from.

Best gig venue

Keisha: Oh my goodness, I'm always going to go for smaller venues when it comes to gigs and stuff.

Mutya: I love The Jazz Cafe, because it's very intimate.

Keisha: I like a little bigger than that.

Siobhan: Hammersmith Apollo was the one for me when we played there, that happy medium.

Keisha: Do you feel like it's the same when you're watching someone perform?

Siobhan: Definitely a smaller venue, but again I would say Hammersmith Apollo.

Best date night spot

The Eagle in Farringdon. You also might see other people you might prefer to date there. There's always really fit men there. Joking!”

A core teenage London memory

“The 52 bus, Hammersmith bus station. Claire's Accessories. Caffe Nero when you used to be able to smoke inside.”

A place that reminds you of summer

“It's just like crossing any bridge for me. It just feels like it doesn't feel late but it is late. The crossing of any bridge in London feels like summer.”

Best coffee shop

“I really love Layla on Golborne Road. And then there's a Don’t Tell Dad around the corner from where I live that I really like.”

Best hidden park

“The rose garden in Queen's Park is really cozy. It's really nice.”

Where in London holds the best memories for you

“West for me will forever be the place that holds the most memories.”

Most underrated tourist spot

“The ice cream shop where I grew up in Henley and Arden is unbelievable. Henley Ices, there's a massive queue every summer because people are coming to visit.”

Best coffee shop

“Is it bad to say that I've never had a coffee in my life? I have to have a cuppa every morning. Like I'm not a morning person, and trainings are quite early, and people know to not speak to me before I have a cuppa.

“I love a hot chocolate. I've got a whole list of recommendations for hot chocolates in London and in Birmingham, if anyone wants them. I think if I had to go for like, a hot chocolate spot in London… oh, I've been to so many. I love Dark Sugars. I love Italian Bear. That's just rich chocolate. Cocoa Melt had some good ones. How do you pronounce it? Knoops. 32% unbelievable. 74% unbelievable.

“I mean, throw your hot chocolate places over to me and I'll go try them out for you.”

A place that holds the best memories

“Definitely Villareal in Spain. For me, my life was growing up around there and going to the games. Definitely get yourself to a Villarreal game. The atmosphere is incredible. And definitely some place that I want to go back to.

“Spain is just where I grew up, me and my brother made a very inseparable bond. As a family we got very close together because we were the only English people out there at the time. We were all very, very happy in what we were doing. I think Spain definitely holds a very, very special place in my heart.”
